As a 15 year old girl going through puberty, this troubles me greatly. I started to have sexual dysfunction on 2 weeks of being on Zoloft and the troubles have continued since April and after I came off the meds in May. Although I have seen mild improvements in this area [orgasm is not entirely pleasureless, just a hugely reduced sensation, libido is improved], I hear a lot of cases of it being permanent. At times, my improvement comes and goes in waves and goes back to where it was. I do get zaps in the genital region, and this has been reported in PP in mainly PSSD suffers, some of which have reported recovery in their signatures. It is important to note that the younger people tend to recover. SA user Altostrata also reported complete recovery after several years of complete PSSD. I think younger people tend to recover more than older people, and being in my mid teens, I have a pretty good chance of it. I'm just frightened it won't. At 2 months out, it's hard to see. Any recommendations?

Epiphany, your main obstacle right now is FEAR. I can tell you this because it is the way I feel too; and I am Old.... You will recover from all this. I have noticed that neuro-fear comes in the form of obsessions. For me first it was insomnia;now is PSSD also. I am suffering from Premature Ejaculation. It is very frustrating, but it is not as bad as lack of sleep. You see? to deal with this complex situation we have set priorities. You will be fine.

Alex, you're never too old to recover. I do obsess quite a bit and I hate the fear. You will be fine as well.

It is important to log that last night, I woke up with sexual feelings that I have not had in a while. It was only about 40-50% of what it used to be, but STILL important to note, as that is a huge improvement. It improves and then it wanes again but the improvement usually comes with the worsening of other symptoms, namely DP and muscle cramping at this moment.

My dear child, believe me: you will be "absolutely fine" before you know it. I know;just don't rush it:This is a lesson for all of us to learn.(maybe too late for me) I am so happy you are getting better.
Hugs, A.
